About
Welcome to the Two Witnesses End Time Study Series course. The figures known as the Two Witnesses, as prophesied in the Book of Revelation, have captivated scholars for centuries. The two witnesses in the Book of Revelation are two prophets mentioned in Revelation 11:1-14. Although we call them prophets, the identity of the two witnesses has been the subject of much speculation, with scholars interpreting them as two people, two groups of people, or two concepts. Many Christians have wondered who the “two witnesses” of Revelation 11 really are. The two witnesses are among the most dramatic characters of Scripture. They prophesy before the world for three and a half years or 1,260 days (Rev.11:3). Their goal will be to encourage people to turn their hearts to God. During this time, they can strike the earth with whatever plague they desire, and cannot be harmed by their enemies (Rev.11:5-6). Ultimately, they are killed by the beast (Rev.11:7) but they rise to life in three and a half days (Rev.11:11). In this study we will explore whether the two witnesses are actual people who prophesy before Jesus’ return? There is much speculation about who these two representatives of God will be and their 3½-year ministry. We will learn what the Bible, the only one true source of information on the subject, says about these special individuals. Let’s dive into the study of scripture and see what the book of Revelation tells us.
